The ILMC Gala Dinner & Arthur Awards - event update

Murder, mystery, intrigue; oodles of champagne, fine wines and exquisite cuisine; jaw-dropping magic and the industry’s finest all rubbing shoulders... it can only mean one thing: the ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ Gala Dinner & Arthur Awards!

Two quick things regarding this year’s ILMC Gala Dinner... firstly, voting for the Arthurs ends this Friday, so if you haven’t already cast your vote, do spare a moment to head here and help decide whose hands those coveted little chaps will be going home in.

Secondly, tickets are moving faster than the TGV right now, so if you haven’t already booked your seat on ILMC’s luxury locomotive, now would be a very good time to sign up...

OPULENT SURROUNDINGS...

Like everything else in the business, the ILMC Gala Dinner doesn’t stand still for too long. This year, we’re moving to ever-more luxurious surroundings and one of London's grandest Victorian interiors.

Following a multimillion-pound refurbishment, the Grade-II listed 8Northumberland hotel features immaculately restored period details, including the magnificent Ballroom where the Gala Dinner takes place. The venue also offers more space, along with critically acclaimed cuisine and service.

THE ITINERARY...

With over 300 of the industry’s finest masterminds climbing aboard, the journey will commence with a champagne reception, followed by an outstanding five-star, four-course feast with a selection of fine wines to match.

World-renowned magician and TV celebrity Nigel Mead will be providing some unforgettable and mind-boggling entertainment, while the annual ILMC pop quiz will offer some instantly forgettable prizes.

As the evening hurtles towards its climax, the mystery of who will take home one of the coveted Arthur statuettes will finally be solved as conductress extraordinaire and mistress of ceremonies Emma Banks clips guests’ tickets and hosts the awards ceremony in her own inimitable style.

In past years this event has invariably sold-out in advance, so if you’d like to climb aboard, click here to buy your ticket to ride or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
