Following the success of the Dragon’s Den sessions in recent years, we are taking the concept to the next level by inviting not one, but three industry veterans to offer attendees the benefit of their collective experience as they discuss randomly selected topics. Sensible Music’s Andrew Zweck will grace the stage alongside Rock Werchter founder Herman Schueremans and Britannia Row chief Bryan Grant, in what promises to be one of the most entertaining and insightful hours of ILMC 29. This is a must for anyone looking for advice from some of the wisest heads in the business.

Career journalist, Gordon has been a specialist in the music industry for the past 15 years. Now editor of 'IQ Magazine', he was previously the live editor at 'Music Week' and international editor for 'Billboard'. In addition to his various editorial roles, Gordon has undertaken a number of consultancies for record companies and other music industry organisations. Speaker's Biog | Bryan Grant
Bryan has been in the music business since 1971 mainly in audio but with short stints as manager and tour manager. He’s been a director of Britannia Row Productions (Britrow) since 1979, having bought it off The Floyd in 1984. Britrow has been in the forefront of live sound for 40 years, with tours by acts such as Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Foo Fighters, Robbie Williams, Kasabian and Sam Smith; plus events such as Live 8, the Gold and Diamond jubilees, several Olympic events, WOMAD and Chime for Change. The company supplies audio equipment and crews for events throughout the world from its base in London, employing around 100 people.
Speaker's Biog | Herman Schueremans
Herman is CEO of Live Nation Belgium. Rock Werchter, the company’s flagship, has been voted the best festival in the world by music industry professionals on four occasions. On top of that, the festival has received three European Festival Awards: Artists’ Favourite European Festival (2009), and Best European Festival Line-Up (in both 2009 + 2011). In 2009, Herman was awarded an ILMC Arthur for being Promoter of the Year. Herman started out in the industry in the 1970s making music, working for a record company and as a rock journalist. He set-up an alternative concert circuit that would grow alongside a new generation of musicians (including Dire Straits, Talking Heads, and Simple Minds). This included Torhout/Werchter, a double festival that become Rock Werchter in 1999. The festival formula turned a disadvantage into an advantage as big names could be convinced to come and play in a little country. Rock Werchter now ranks among the top 5 festivals in Europe, and has hosted acts including U2, Metallica, R.E.M., Chemical Brothers and Coldplay. In recent years, bands like Editors, Muse and Kings of Leon have evolved from being opening acts to headliners at the festival. Herman wants to be both a fan and an entrepreneur, and uses the motto ‘music unites’ to guide him. From 2004 until 2012, he was a member of the Flemish Parliament, where he represented his party Open VLD in the commission for Culture, Sports, Youth and Media.
