The Deadly Dutch Impact Party

The Deadly Dutch Impact Party

The party takes place at Bodo’s Schloss, right next door to the Royal Garden Mansion. So with less than 39 Steps to find it, getting there will be no mystery.

NAVARONENavarone are a rock band from The Netherlands, who have been together since 2008. In 2012, the 5-piece released their first full album called 'A Darker Shade Of White,' which was mixed by the American Grammy Award winning producer Vance Powell (Beck, Jack White).

They’ve received worldwide critical acclaim for their modern and innovative interpretation of 70s rock. Internationally highly credited music journalist Jan Vollaard (NRC) put the album qualitatively on the same shelf as the latest releases of Wolfmother and The Black Crowes. Uriah Heep called them one of the best support acts they ever had.

Navarone are high-energy rock & roll featuring gloomy and hypnotising soundscapes, and powerful vocals.

paceshiftersPaceshifters charges the current music landscape with a huge amount of energy. Anybody that has seen them the last 5 years can confirm this. During one of their many, many shows in clubs and bars or opening for bands like Deep Purple, 3 Doors Down, Triggerfinger and Therapy?, in a sweaty, steamy tent at Groezrock or Zwarte Cross, or as the dessert at a Queens of the Stone Age show.

The third album 'Breach' will be released in  Benelux by Goomah Music/Excelsior/V2 records. The leading music magazine in The Netherlands 'Oor' said of the first single: “If the record is as good as the single 'Drone,' without a doubt, 2014 will be the year of the Paceshifters.”And 3FM, the most important national radiostation in the Netherlands immediately made them Serious Talent for this Summer (securing them Airplay and a lot of attention on the station). Andy Cairns of Therapy?, said: "If the future of Dutch rock & roll is in the hands of Paceshifters, it's in fucking safe hands!"

Amber Arcades  21:00-21:25

Amber ArcadesAmber Arcades is the solo-project of Oh, Brave Wide Eyes' front-woman Annelotte de Graaf. Having started her musical career in 2010 in a Philadelphia-based bluegrass band, but also having a deep love for weird electronics and louder music as a remnant of her teenage years, she combines folky melodies and harmonies with spaced out guitars and poppy structures. The result you could call dreamfolk, or singer-shoegazer. The first album 'Fading Lines' was released on 3 June 2016 and was generally received with critical acclaim in The Netherlands.
